PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life watching system in which replacement of electric products is not needed, application to various electric products are possible, and flexible response to life pattern change of a watched person is possible.SOLUTION: In a life watching server, a plurality of outlet adapters (adapters) are installed between electronic products and outlets in home. Each of the adapters detects ON/OFF of the electronic product connected to the adapter and distributes the detected ON/OFF information of the electronic product to the server. The server includes means by which a watching person registers a mapping between the adapter and the electronic product connected to the adapter, and means by which the watching person configures a notification condition to notify the watching person on the basis of the ON/OFF information of the registered electronic products. The server determines whether combination of the ON/OFF information of the electronic products detected by the adapters satisfies the configured notification condition. When satisfaction of the notification condition is determined, notification of the determination result is transmitted to a terminal of the watching person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
