PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick film resistor low in resistance and constant in an area resistance value and a TCR irrespective of the length of a thick film resistive element, and a manufacturing method of the thick film resistor.SOLUTION: A thick film resistor including a thick film resistive element 12 containing copper and nickel and a copper-containing thick film resistive element 13 connected to the thick film resistive element 12 is obtained by: printing a resistive paste 2 containing copper powder and nickel powder or copper-nickel alloy powder on an insulation substrate 1 and firing at 800-950°C in an inert atmosphere or a reduction atmosphere; and then printing a conductor paste 3 containing copper powder to be connected to the thick film resistive element 12, and firing at 550-700°C in an inert atmosphere or a reduction atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
