PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butterfly valve capable of ensuring an assembly state of a valve body and a shaft even under an environment where fluid to be a control object is made into high pressure.SOLUTION: In a valve body, a first plate 576 and a second plate 578 are connected so as to form a fitting hole 580 inserting a shaft 520 into the central parts of mutually opposite surfaces for assembly. An inner wall surface forming the fitting hole 580 has a pressure reception surface 596 not parallel with a connection surface 94 between the first plate 576 and the second plate 578. The shaft 520 has a rotational force transmission surface 582 pressing the pressure reception surface 596 with rotation to transmit rotational force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
