PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision damage reduction device capable of interrupting a current from a power supply unit in the event of a collision without a current interruption device adapted to a large current.SOLUTION: A collision damage reduction device that is mounted on a vehicle equipped with a power supply unit and an electric load operated by receiving supply of power from the power supply unit includes: a sensor for detecting an obstacle around the vehicle; and a determination part that outputs a command to stop the operation of the electric load when it determines that a collision with the obstacle is unavoidable based on the detection by the sensor, and cuts off an electric power line to supply power from the power supply unit to the electric load when a predetermined condition is satisfied after the output of the command.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
