PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan capable of suppressing peeling of a boundary layer on a surface of blades, noise generating according to the peeling, and decrease of rotational speed of a fan, and to achieve high blowing efficiency.SOLUTION: A fan 1 includes a hub 2 for rotating around a rotary shaft X, and blades 3 provided at a predetermined interval in a circumferential direction of the hub 2. The fan 1 generates an airflow in a direction parallel with the rotary shaft X or in an oblique direction with respect to the rotary shaft X. On a negative pressure surface side of the blade 3, a vortex generator 4 is formed for generating a vertical vortex. The vortex generator 4 has a first surface which faces a rotational direction front side of the hub 2, and a second surface which is connected to the first surface and which faces a rotational direction rear side. End points of a ridge line generating by connection of the first surface and the second surface are located further on the rotational direction rear side than the center of the ridge line, and heights of the first surface and the second surface on a cutting surface from the blade 3 when the cutting surface is cut at each plane vertical to the ridge are the highest on the ridge line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
