PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add information concerning prediction reliability to a prediction concerning power demand.SOLUTION: The demand prediction device for predicting power demand includes a demand calculation part for calculating a plurality of prediction values concerning power demand of a power load at a specified date and time on the basis of a prediction formula representing a relation between power demand at the power load and meteorological information at a location of the power load, and a plurality of meteorological prediction values at the location of the power load and a specified date and time. The demand prediction device further includes a reliability determination part for determining reliability with respect to the predicted power demand on the basis of a distribution in the collection of the plurality of prediction values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
