PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage material that has a large heat storage capacity, a catalyst unit, and a heat storage system.SOLUTION: Provided are: a heat storage material (5) comprising a strongly correlated electron system material and a porous material in which the strongly correlated electron system material is preferably a material that undergoes a metal-insulator phase transition, the strongly correlated electron system material is preferably a transition metal oxide, and the specific surface area of the porous material is preferably 1 m/g or more; a catalyst unit including a catalyst carrier (17) comprising a heat storage material, and a catalyst supported on the catalyst carrier; and a heat storage system (19) characterized by including a flow channel (35) for a heat transport medium, the above-described heat storage material (25) for carrying out a heat exchange with a heat transport medium (101) flowing through the flow channel, and a steam supply unit (23, 27, 31) for supplying steam to the heat storage material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
