PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet that is excellent in transportation property and cutting suitability and that is hard to be in winding habit and is hard to cause curl after image forming, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet provided with a receiving layer on one surface of core-material paper. A front surface-side polyolefin resin layer is provided between the core-material paper and the receiving layer. A rear surface-side polyolefin resin layer is provided on the other surface of the core-material paper. A polyethylene resin layer having the density greater than 0.937 g/cmand smaller than 0.956 g/cmis provided on the surface of the rear-surface-side polyolefin rein layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
