PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add information on the reliability of prediction when predicting a value of surplus power supplied to a power system from a distribution type power supply installed at a user's house.SOLUTION: The power prediction device for predicting a third power value according to a finite difference between a first power value supplied to a power load connected to a power line and a second power value output from a distribution type power source connected to the power line so as to supply the power load with power includes a calculation part for calculating a plurality of prediction values of the third power at a specified date and time on the basis of a prediction formula representing a relation between the third power value and meteorological information at a location of the power line and a plurality of weather forecasting prediction values at the location of the power line at the specified date and time. The power prediction device further includes a reliability determination part for determining reliability with respect to the predicted third power on the basis of a distribution of the plurality of prediction values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
