PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an USB bus voltage from being supplied to an USB port when overcurrent of the USB port is detected and an image forming apparatus is restarted.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 including an USB port 80 includes: a display part 473 for performing various kinds of display; a power supply device 101 for generating a voltage to be a drive voltage of the display part 473 and an USB bus voltage to be supplied to the USB port 80; an overcurrent protection part 102 which detects that overcurrent flows to the USB port 80 and which cuts off the supply of the USB bus voltage to the USB port 80; a nonvolatile memory 105; and a control part 104 which records overcurrent detection information in the nonvolatile memory 105 upon receiving a notification of the overcurrent detection of the USB port 80 from the overcurrent protection part 102, reads the overcurrent detection information from the nonvolatile memory 105 when starting the image forming apparatus 1, and controls the overcurrent protection part 102 in such a manner that the USB voltage is not supplied to the USB port 80 in which overcurrent is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
