PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an FRP using a RTM method capable of obtaining a molded article of good quality having no air trap, particularly capable of obtaining a molded article having no air trap with a completely-sealed type mold.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced plastic includes the steps of: placing a preform composed of a reinforcing fiber base material in a cavity of a mold; impregnating the preform with a resin injected from a resin-injection opening provided in the cavity while fluidizing the resin in a direction toward a resin suction opening provided in the cavity; and curing the resin, where the resin injection opening and the resin suction opening are provided in a region at which the preform is placed, and a space-occupying fiber volume content in a predetermined region in the cavity is within a range of ±10 volume% to a space-occupying fiber volume content in a region containing a reference surface determined preliminarily in the cavity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
