PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nerve stimulation system in which indwelling operation including positioning of an electrode is easy and positional deviation of the electrode after indwelling is less likely to occur.SOLUTION: A nerve stimulation system 1 having a nerve stimulation electrode 20 comprises: a cylindrical introducing sheath 30 which is mounted to a lead part of the nerve stimulation electrode and can accommodate an indwelling part of the nerve stimulation electrode in an elastically deformed state; a cylindrical operation sheath 40 into which the lead part is inserted, and which can move forward and backward inside the introducing sheath and can advance/retract and rotate the nerve stimulation electrode by engaging with the nerve stimulation electrode; and a cylindrical extraction sheath 50 into which the lead part is inserted, and which is disposed near a proximal side end part of the nerve stimulation electrode from the operation sheath and can accommodate the indwelling part in the elastically deformed state. The lead part comprises a soft part having first flexibility, which is provided at a distal side end part, and a non-soft part having second flexibility smaller than the first flexibility, which is provided on the proximal side from the soft part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
