PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atom oscillator capable of suppressing generation of light shift.SOLUTION: An atom oscillator 100 using the quantum interference effect includes a first light source section 10 for emitting first light including resonant light pair having two different wavelengths, a gas cell 20 encapsulating alkali metal atoms, a first photodetector 30 for detecting the optical intensity of first light transmitted through the gas cell 20, a second light source section 40 for emitting second light toward the gas cell 20, and a control section 82 for changing the optical intensity of the second light emitted from the second light source section 40, so as to compensate for the variation of the optical intensity detected by the first photodetector 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
