PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal, a content viewing system, a notification method, and a notification program for properly giving a guidance to a user.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 comprises: a first identification unit 142 for identifying a downlink communication speed toward a portable terminal 1 in a wireless network; a second identification unit 143 for identifying an uplink communication speed from a receiver 7 in a cable television network; and a notification unit 144 which, on the basis of the downlink communication speed toward the portable terminal 1 and the uplink communication speed from the receiver 7, gives the user of the portable terminal 1 information for identifying the respective communication quality of the wireless network and the cable television network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
