PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which improves front illuminance and reduces color non-uniformity on a luminescent surface.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 1 includes: a light-emitting element 20; a wavelength conversion member 40 which has a surface larger than a top face of the light-emitting element joined to the top face of the light-emitting element; a translucent member 60 which has an area larger than that of the top face of the light-emitting element and is disposed on the top face of the wavelength conversion member; a translucent side face light guide member 51 which is formed from a side face of the light-emitting element to a bottom face of an edge of the wavelength conversion member; and a light reflection member 80 which is disposed at least on side faces of the wavelength conversion member, the translucent member, and the side face light guide member. The top face of the wavelength conversion member is smaller than a bottom face of the translucent member, or a region of the wavelength conversion member outside of the light-emitting element is formed thinner than a region of the wavelength conversion member just at an upper side of the light-emitting element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B |
