PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an electronic component having a higher inductance compared with conventional method of manufacturing an electronic component, in a method of manufacturing an electronic component incorporating a coil and provided with an inner magnetic path.SOLUTION: An electronic component 1 has a laminate 10 of an insulator substrate 16 and insulator layers 11-14, a coil 30 including coil conductors 32, 36 provided on the insulator substrate 16, and an inner magnetic path 40 penetrating the insulator substrate 16. A method of manufacturing an electronic component 1 includes a step of providing the coil conductors 32, 36 and a sacrificial conductor 140 simultaneously on a mother insulator substrate 116, i.e., an aggregate of a plurality of insulator substrates 16, a step of laminating insulator sheets 112, 113, becoming insulator layers 12, 13, on the mother insulator substrate 116 so as to cover the coil conductors 32, 36, and a step of exposing the sacrificial conductor 140 by removing a part of the insulator sheets 112, 113.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
