PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem found in the prior art gear change clutch that the internal splines of a sleeve are abutted against the external splines of a gear change clutch and locked there when the clutch is started from its complete stopped state.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a gear change clutch 1 that comprises: a clutch hub 33 rotated in integral with a counter shaft 4; a driven gear 9 rotatably fitted outside to the counter shaft 4 at its side; and sleeves 34 formed with left side internal splines 34L engaged with the first external spline 33a in a slidable manner in an axial direction that is formed at an outer periphery of the clutch hub 33. Motion toward the driven gear 9 causes left side internal splines 34L to be engaged with the second external spline 9b at an outer periphery of the driven gear 9. There is provided a sliding escaping structure 51 that the left side internal splines 34L of which extremity ends are abutted against and locked to the extremity end of the second external spline 9b are rotated in a peripheral direction while being slid at the side surfaces of the second external spline 9b and moved toward the peripheral side of the second external spline 9b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
