PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for widely opening a reinforcing fiber bundle.SOLUTION: The device for opening a reinforcing fiber bundle comprises at least two opening bars having a same diameter which are sequentially arranged and at least one opening bar having different diameters which is arranged in a latter part thereof along a conveyance direction of the reinforcing fiber bundle. The device opens the reinforcing fiber bundle by conveying a reinforcing fiber bundle while winding the reinforcing fiber bundle around the opening bars having a same diameter and then around the opening bar having different diameters. The opening bar having a same diameter is a bar in which the diameter is the same along its axial direction. The bar having a different diameter is a bar in which the diameter increases from both ends toward a center part in its axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
