PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scattering prevention device and an installation method thereof for installing the device readily and securely on a roof or a roof floor of a building, and maintaining the device in a stable state after installation, thereby offering a scattering prevention effect for certain.SOLUTION: Using a scattering prevention device 100 that includes a plurality of support units 110 installed on a roof 2 of a building 1, and a scattering prevention net 120 stretched between the support units 110, a column 111 of the support unit 110 is supported, and each of leg parts 112A to 112C in an open state is brought in contact with a top surface of the roof 2 and fixed with a fixing metal fitting 200 through a fixing hole 114A. This way, the plurality of support units 110 are installed on the top surface of the roof 2 leaving a prescribed interval, for hooking a top part of the scattering prevention net 120 on a hook part 116 disposed at a top part of the column 111 of the support unit 110 that has been installed, thereby the scattering prevention net 120 being scattered between the support units 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
