PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chuck device with a workpiece holding guide, which allows one telescopic actuator to execute gripping of a workpiece by chuck jaws and retreat of the workpiece holding guide.SOLUTION: A chuck device 1 with a workpiece holding guide comprises: a plurality of chuck jaws 32 for gripping a workpiece; a chuck opening/closing mechanism 13 for opening and closing the chuck jaws 32 by a driving force acting in a direction parallel to a central axis; a telescopic actuator 14; and a workpiece holding guide 36 fixed to a guide rod 26 movable in an axial direction. The workpiece holding guide 36 can move between a holding position and a retreat position by extension and contraction of the telescopic actuator 14. The chuck opening/closing mechanism 13 and the guide rod 26 are connected so that an output of the telescopic actuator 14 acting in a retreat side direction of the workpiece holding guide 36 is transmitted as a gripping force for gripping a workpiece W by the chuck jaws 32 after the workpiece holding guide 36 has moved to the retreat position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
