PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a truck frame for railway vehicle which can surely secure fatigue strength of a weld joint even in the case where repair with TIG welding without a welding rod is performed on the defect of a weld bead.SOLUTION: A truck frame formed by bonding steel materials 1A, 1B with gas shield arc welding includes a molten metal part 3 formed with TIG welding without a welding rod in a portion of a weld bead 2, and has a striking mark 4 formed with ultrasonic striking or hammer peening in a region which includes an intersection part 6 between the molten metal part 3, the weld bead 2 and an unmelted part of the steel material 1A and is equal to or greater than 10 mm along a weld toe part 2a of the weld bead 2 from the intersection part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9A
