PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control system capable of promoting a consumer to use electric power by relaxing restrictions of power consumptions of respective facilities not at time of peaks of consumption in electric power while controlling the peaks not to exceed maximum electric power that an electric power supply enterprise can supply.SOLUTION: In a power control system, a breaking controller 10 acquires electric power information associated with electric power that a system supplies to a load in facilities. The breaking controller 10 receives electric power threshold information 162 for comparison with the electric power information from an electric power supply enterprise 100, and makes a comparison with the electric power threshold information 162. According to a comparison result, the breaking controller 10 discharges a storage battery until an excess time in which the threshold is exceeded reaches a grace time so as to reduce the power consumption of the electric load, thereby lightening the load on a power distribution network of the system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
