PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumption power.SOLUTION: When a radio signal (uplink radio signal) transmitted by a first communication device 1 is received, a control unit 20 in a second communication device 2 transmits an unmodulated carrier wave from a transmission/reception unit 21 in a prescribed response period (period after the elapse of a waiting time T1). Therefore, the reception waiting period of the first communication device 1 can be shortened in comparison with the case of transmitting a radio signal obtained by modulating a carrier wave with a communication signal corresponding to a communication frame. Also, the second communication device 2 can shorten the transmission period of the transmission/reception unit 21 in comparison with the case of transmitting the radio signal.
