PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently find the cause of a failure when the failure occurs in an EDI system.SOLUTION: A server serial number is shared between an ordering side EDI server 101 and an order-receiving side EDI server 103. The serial number and contact address are stored in association with each other in a system vendor server 102. When a communication error occurs, the system vendor server is notified of a serial number of a communication partner, and thereby the system vendor server identifies a contact address corresponding to the serial number and issues a request for a corresponding communication log.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
