PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can cause a waste toner to reflow for reuse without reducing image quality with foreign substances included in the recovered waste toner and without unnecessarily consuming the toner.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus (1) including a photoreceptor drum (32), a developing device (35) that includes a developing roller (35a) and a developer regulation member (35c) and develops an electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor drum (32) to form a toner image, and a cleaner unit (37) that recovers a toner remaining on the photoreceptor drum (32), and causes a recovered waste toner to reflow in the developing device (35), where the developing device (35) includes a foreign substance recovery member 45 that recovers foreign substances mixed in the waste toner; the foreign substance recovery member 45 has four electrodes (D1, D2, D3, and D4), and the adjacent electrodes apply voltages at different timings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
