PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display unit having a structure superior in heat radiation performance.SOLUTION: The image display unit includes: a liquid crystal panel; an LED substrate; and a chassis. The LED substrate is disposed at the rear side of the liquid crystal panel and mounted with plural LEDs. The chassis has a concave and convex and covers the rear face of the liquid crystal panel. The concave is swollen in a direction separated away from the LED substrate. The convex is formed protruding from the bottom wall of the concave toward the LED substrate at a position corresponding to at least one of LEDs positioned in the concave with the top of which is thermally connected to the LED substrate positioned in the concave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
