PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding contact which is low in cost and is capable of maintaining high reliability, and a switch.SOLUTION: In a sliding contact 2, a stationary-side contact 43 and a sliding-side contact 41 are included, and the sliding-side contact 41 is slid and brought into contact with the stationary-side contact 43, such that the stationary-side contact 43 and the sliding-side contact 41 are conducted and connected.
