PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a camera system with less moire and high resolution and modulation degree with a simple constitution in combination with a zoom lens for three.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is a four-plate type imaging apparatus which comprises a screen position control part and an interpolation processing part. The interpolation processing part generates an asymmetrical interpolation signal of an imaging pixel signal for interpolating the comatic aberration in which image formation expands asymmetrically in the radiation direction in the coma (comet) shape in a direction where image formation converges in point symmetry with the direction where the image formation expands from the imaging pixel signal output from two green image pick-up devices, and adds the asymmetrical interpolation signal of the imaging pixel signal to red, green and blue video signals. The screen position control part controls the interpolation processing part in accordance with the screen position and the asymmetrical comatic aberration of the screen position, and corrects the asymmetrical comatic aberration for each screen position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
