PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a shopper to easily and reliably grasp a settlement device which executes settlement processing.SOLUTION: A checkout system of an embodiment comprises at least one commodity registration device and a plurality of settlement devices. The commodity registration device includes generation means, selection means, device selection means and notification means. The generation means generates settlement information for settlement of purchased commodities. The selection means selects an object to be displayed on one of the plurality of settlement devices in accordance with generation of the settlement information. The device selection means selects a settlement device for executing settlement processing about the settlement information. The notification means notifies the settlement device selected by the device selection means of the settlement information and the object. The settlement device includes first display means and settlement means. The first display means displays the object notified by the notification means.
