PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching device for a robot.SOLUTION: A teaching device for a robot is applied to a controller that controls operation of the robot by connection signals. The teaching device comprises: a connection base having an enable switch and a first connector, and in which signals are connected to the controller through a transmission wire; and a portable apparatus which can be disconnected and arranged in the connection base, and having a second connector at which signals are connected to the first connector, and a touch screen on which a plurality of virtual keys are displayed. When the portable apparatus is detached from the connection base, in the portable apparatus, signals are connected to the controller by a radio transmission method, and at the same time, respective virtual keys are displayed on the touch screen. When the portable apparatus is arranged in the connection base and the enable switch is not pushed, the second connector is connected to the first connector, the respective virtual keys become invalid, and the respective virtual keys are continuously validated after the enable switch is continuously pushed, which improves convenience in use.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
