PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a polyisocyanurate-modified isocyanate without generation of suspended matter or defects such as yellowing and clouding.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a polyisocyanurate-modified isocyanate, comprising: reacting an aliphatic diisocyanate and/or an alicyclic diisocyanate (A) with a hydroxyl group-containing compound (B); thereafter isocyanurating the diisocyanate using an isocyanurating catalyst (C) and, after isocyanuration, deactivating the catalyst with a terminating agent (D), where, as the terminating agent (D), a compound represented by the following formula is used: R-SO-NH-CO-R(Rand Rare each independently a saturated or unsaturated alkyl group, an aryl group, a saturated or unsaturated alkoxy group, a phenoxy group; or Rand Rmay form a heterocycle containing C, N, O, and S, which may be substituted).SELECTED DRAWING: None |
