PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front part structure of an automobile which can surely receive loads inputted from front wheels while suppressing an increase of the weight of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: In a vehicle body front part structure 10 of an automobile which has a side sill 12, a front side frame 20, and a torque box 30 which connects the front side frame 20 and a front end 12a of the side sill 12, the vehicle body front part structure comprises a reinforcing member 50 having a first extension part 59 which is connected to the front side frame 20 at its base end 55, and also connected to the front end 12a of the side sill 12 at its front-side end 57 while being displaced to a rear side as transiting to a vehicle width direction by being branched from the base end 55, and a second extension part 62 which is connected to the side sill 12 at its rear-side end 60 at a rear position rather than the first extension part 59. By this constitution, a truss structure with the front end 12a as an apex which is composed of both the extension parts 59, 62 and the side sill 12 is formed, and loads inputted to the front end 12a via front wheels 6 can be surely received.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
