PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer designed to increase a processing speed when a nozzle array in a liquid discharge head is arranged oblique with respect to a direction orthogonal to the transfer direction of a printing medium.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a basic processing part 122 inserting no-meaning data corresponding to defective nozzles into the original image data, in which pixels are specified in an orthogonal coordinate system, and writing the processed image data into an area 112; a tilt processing part 124 mapping the data written in two-dimensional array into an area having a shape in an orthogonal coordinate system with one axis tilted according to said angel; a reading part 144 reading the mapped data and providing them to a liquid discharging head.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
