PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rise and fall of tape conveyance speed due to slide of a conveyance roller and a tape to prevent deterioration of printing quality.SOLUTION: A tape printer 1 has: a conveyance motor M1 which drives a conveyance roller 12; a printing head 11 which forms printing at predetermined printing speed to a tape 150 to be used as a printed tape 150'; and an adhesive winding motor M2 which drives a winding core 41 winding a printed tape 150'', a CPU 201 controls drive of the conveyance roller 12 so that roller conveyance speed due to rotation of the conveyance roller 12 becomes first speed corresponding to the case in which there is no slide with the tape 150 to be printed contacting the conveyance roller 12, corrects the first speed according to a tape width, a tape type, a tape remaining amount in a printing tape roll R1 of the tape 150 to be printed, an outer diameter of the winding core 41 to be used as second speed, and further controls drive of the conveyance roller 12 so that the roller conveyance speed becomes the second speed after correction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
