PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor device for an endoscope which can store an image such as a lesion image suitable for diagnosis reliably without omission, an operation method of the processor device for the endoscope, and a control program for the endoscope.SOLUTION: An endoscope system 10 comprises a processor device 16. The processor device 16 comprises an image signal acquisition unit 54, a selection unit 70, a mucosa information extraction unit 72, an index value calculation unit 74, a determination unit 76, and a storage control unit 80. The image signal acquisition unit 54 acquires an image signal obtained by imaging an observation object with an endoscope 12. The selection unit 70 selects mucosa information. The mucosa information extraction unit 72 performs extraction of the selected mucosa information from the image signal. The index value calculation unit 74 calculates an index value based on the extracted mucosa information. The determination unit 76 determines whether or not a specific condition is satisfied based on the index value. The storage control unit 80 automatically stores specific image signals, which satisfy the specific condition, among the image signals in a storage unit 96.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
