The present invention relates to a method for producing an elastin-containing protein extract obtained from pollock skin, and to a cosmetic composition containing the protein extract. More specifically, the present invention relates to a technology to produce an elastin-containing protein extract so as to use the extract in the production of a cosmetic product for improving skin. In order to produce the elastin-containing protein extract extracted from pollock skin, shell powder derived from shellfish is used during an extraction step, so as to increase productivity of the protein. According to the present invention, the extract exhibits effectiveness in skin moisturization, skin inflammation, and skin cell regeneration. |
