The present invention relates to a latent and potential crimped yarn preparation method including: a step of preparing a filament by conjugate spinning of a silver nano anti-microbial full-dull polymer (A) and a high-contraction polymer (B); and a step of drawing the filament with first and second godet rollers. According to the latent and potential crimped polyester yarn preparation method, heat setting is performed with a godet roller that includes a plurality of surface grooves which are formed in a diagonal direction being used as a cylindrical godet roller controlling a heat setting temperature of a spun synthetic fiber filament yarn. A latent and potential crimped yarn that is obtained by the same includes a curl and has a high level of elastic recovery force.
