PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage material that has a high heat exchange efficiency, a catalyst unit, and a heat storage system.SOLUTION: Provided are: a heat storage material 5 comprising a strongly correlated electron system material, and having a porous shape; a heat storage material 5 in which the strongly correlated electron system material is a material that undergoes a metal-insulator phase transition, and is a transition metal oxide; a heat storage material 5 in which the pore 6 constituting the porous shape is a communicating pore or a closed pore; a catalyst unit including a catalyst carrier comprising the above described heat storage material 5, and a catalyst supported on the catalyst carrier; and a heat storage system characterized by including a flow channel for a heat transport medium, the above described heat storage material for carrying out a heat exchange with a heat transport medium flowing through the flow channel, and a steam supply unit for supplying steam to the heat storage material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
