PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for inserting information hidden in a flush pattern.SOLUTION: There is provided a system including a marking engine that includes a plurality of printheads, an interface that receives print data of a print job, a plurality of RIPs, and a print control part. The print control part divides the print data into logical pages, inserts printable information into the logical pages that distinguishes each logical page from other logical pages, and transmits the logical pages to the RIPs for rasterization. The print control part determines that a RIP has completed rasterizing a logical page, transmits the rasterized logical page to a print verification system, directs the printheads of the marking engine to print the rasterized logical page on a physical page, and directs the printheads of the marking engine to apply a flush pattern on the physical page at the position of the inserted printable information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
