PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor head capable of efficiently radiating heat of a light-emitting element.SOLUTION: The image sensor head includes: a light-emitting element 5; a light-emitting element substrate 3 in which the light-emitting element 5 is placed on one of the principal surfaces; a light guide body 11 which is disposed adjacent to the light-emitting element 5 and guides a light emitted from the light-emitting element 5 in a main scan direction; and a light-receiving element 9 for receiving a light that is emitted from the light guide body 11 and reflected by a reading medium P. The light-emitting element substrate 3 includes a through-hole 3a, and the light guide body 11 includes a protrusion 11b that protrudes in the main scan direction. The protrusion 11b penetrates the through-hole 3a and protrudes from another principal surface that is positioned at an opposite side of the one principal surface of the light-emitting element substrate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
