PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin having high melting point excellent in long time molten retention stability.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyamide resin containing a dicarboxylic acid unit of which 50 to 100 mol% consists of an oxalic acid unit and a diamine unit, nonionic organic iodine compound in the polyamide resin and the content of iodine atom derived from the nonionic organic iodine compound is 20 ppm to 6000 ppm based on the weight of the polyamide resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
