PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork which easily applies a pre-load to a bearing even if a pair of outer tubes, an upper bracket, an under bracket, and a steering shaft are integrally formed.SOLUTION: A front fork includes: a pair of outer tubes 1; an upper bracket 3 and an under bracket 4 connecting the pair of outer tubes 1; and a steering shaft 5 erecting on the under bracket 4 and rotatably supported by a head tube b1 through a bearing 7. The pair of outer tubes 1, the upper bracket 3, and the under bracket 4, and the steering shaft 5 are integrally formed in the front fork. The front fork includes: a connection member 6 connecting the upper bracket 3 with the steering shaft 5; and a spacer 9 which is provided at an outer periphery of the steering shaft 5 protruding from the head tube b1, contacts with the bearing 7 at one end, and may expand and contract.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
