PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch unit capable of switching stably between transmission and cutoff of rotational power.SOLUTION: When an input gear 20 of a clutch device 1 rotates in one direction around a shaft 10, a plunger 50 remains in a first circumferential groove 11 when the plunger is positioned in the first circumferential groove and the input gear and an output gear 30 are not engaged with each other, and when the plunger 50 is positioned in a second circumferential groove 12, the plunger shifts from the second circumferential groove to the first circumferential groove through a connecting groove 13. When the input gear rotates in the other direction around the shaft, the plunger shifts from the first circumferential groove to the second circumferential groove through the connecting groove when the plunger is positioned in the first circumferential groove, and when the plunger is positioned in the second circumferential groove, the plunger remains in the second circumferential groove and the input gear and the output gear are engaged with each other so that both the input gear and the output gear rotate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
