PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an occurrence of a leak or a kink in a connection tube.SOLUTION: A blood pump drive device 1 includes: an input port N1 to which working pressure is supplied; an output port N2 to which a connection tube 2 is attached for supplying working pressure to a blood pump 3; a piping tube 24 for transmitting the working pressure supplied to the input port to the output port; a first pressure gauge 41 for measuring the pressure at an arbitrary position in the piping tube and outputting it as a first pressure value; a second pressure gauge 42 for measuring the pressure at a position closer to the output port than the arbitrary position in the piping tube and outputting it as a second pressure value; a determination part for determining that there is an occurrence of a kink or a leak in the connection tube according to whether or not a ratio of the second pressure value to the first pressure value is included in a predetermined numerical range; and a notification part. The determination part determines an occurrence of a kink or a leak based on the first pressure value and the second pressure value measured at the same timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
