PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of suppressing the positional shifting of a recording image caused by the positional shifting of a recording medium accompanying the switching of the transmission state of a driving force.SOLUTION: The device includes, in order to cause a conveying roller part to convey a recording medium in a conveying direction or a reverse conveying direction, preparation processing (S15) including a forward/reverse operation for forwarding/reversing a driving force in a state where the force of moving from one of a first position and a second position to the other has been added to a moving gear, program searching processing (S17) for causing the conveying roller part to convey the recording medium in a conveying direction to a position facing a recording part, correction processing (S16) for correcting the positional shifting of the recording medium accompanying the forward/reverse operation in the preparation processing by increasing/decreasing the rotation amount of the driving force in the preparation processing or the program searching processing, and recording processing (S18) for causing a recording part to record an image on the recording medium set to face the recording part by the program searching processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
