PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butterfly valve capable of excellently operating even under an environment where fluid to be a control object is made into high pressure.SOLUTION: A butterfly valve 10 includes: a metal body 12 having a refrigerant passage 16 for passing refrigerant; a shaft 20 supported to the body 12 so as to be rotatable around an own shaft, and extending in the radial direction of the refrigerant passage 16; a valve body 18 arranged in the refrigerant passage 16 in a state of being assembled into the shaft 20, and capable of adjusting the opened/closed state or opening of the refrigerant passage 16 by rotating together with the shaft 20; and an actuator rotatably driving the shaft 20 with electrification. The valve body 18 is obtained by covering the almost whole bodies of metal plates 76, 78 with an elastic member 74, and by contacting the outer peripheral surface of the elastic member 74 along the inner peripheral surface of the refrigerant passage 16, seal in a state where the valve body 18 closes the refrigerant passage 16 is attained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
