PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image development toner excellent in heat-resistant storage and low-temperature fixability and capable of suppressing the generation of offset at high temperature.SOLUTION: An electrostatic latent image development toner of the present invention contains a plurality of toner particles. Each of the plurality of toner particles contains a toner core and a shell layer formed on a surface of the toner core. The shell layer contains a unit derived from a monomer or prepolymer of a thermosetting resin and a unit derived from a thermoplastic resin. The thickness of the shell layer is 30 nm or less. The toner core contains a polyester resin as a binder resin. The distribution of molecular weight of the toner has at least two peaks including a first peak and a second peak. The ratio (P2/P1) of the molecular weight (P2) of the second peak to the molecular weight (P1) of the first peak is 30 or more and 600 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
