PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging device that can reduce the effect of eddy current that occurs in an RF shield.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging device comprises an RF coil and an RF shield. The RF coil is formed in a nearly cylindrical shape. The RF shield is formed in a nearly cylindrical shape and disposed on the outer peripheral side of the RF coil. The RF shield includes a plurality of slits formed at asymmetric positions with respect to an axial center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
