PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage level detection device capable of detecting a voltage level with a reduced circuit area compared with the conventional art.SOLUTION: A voltage level detection device 1 comprises a comparator 3, and a threshold level changeover circuit 5. The comparator 3 compares a voltage level of an increasing or decreasing input signal X with a predetermined threshold level LV(n), and generates and outputs a comparator output signal Sco indicating that the input signal X reaches the threshold level LV(n). The threshold level changeover circuit 5 changes the threshold level LV(n) of the comparator 3 on the basis of the comparator output signal Sco. The threshold level changeover circuit 5 changes the threshold level so as to raise the threshold level of the comparator 3 when the input signal X monotonously increases and to reduce the threshold level of the comparator 3 when the input signal X monotonously decreases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
