PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double raschel fabric which allows water to be efficiently brought into contact with air made to permeate therethrough without loss of permeability, thereby having excellent humidifying performance; and to provide an air filter medium for a humidifier using the same.SOLUTION: In a double raschel fabric, monofilaments having a cruciform cross section are used in an intermediate layer joining the front surface and the rear surface of the double raschel fabric. Preferably, the monofilaments having the cruciform cross section comprise polyester fibers and have a fineness of 10-100 dtex. Preferably, the monofilaments are used in a ratio of 50 wt.% or more based on the total of the intermediate layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
